Start of Changing Seasons at Seaton Delaval

This weekend we didn’t manage to get out on a walk as we normally would, instead we hit up a National Trust site, Seaton Delaval Hall. Findable on what3words ///wonderfully.lined.boot

I was hoping to catch a more of a change in the seasons. I’d driven further north into Northumberland earlier in the week, where there seemed to be slightly more colour, but it wasn’t quite there this far south yet. There appears to have been a slow trickle of yellow into the landscape, but autumn hasn’t yet hit it’s stride.

I remember last year thinking that the change seemed to come late, and then when it hit it was almost overnight. This year I think it looks like it will be a slower transition, but maybe that’s just me?

As it is a small, quaint site, rather than narrated our wander around it, this week instead I’m opting to simply use this blog entry as a gallery.

Symmetry at Seaton Delaval Hall. I think this is the first time I’ve walked down that little road bit to try and take an image of the courtyard like this…
